Marquinhos is leaving Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal and is joining Norwich City on loan in the final two days of the January transfer window, according to The Express journalist Ryan Taylor on Twitter.
The reporter has claimed that Arsenal have decided to send Marquinhos out on loan for the rest of the season.
The 19-year-old Brazilian, who can play as a winger or as a forward, is now going to travel to Norwich and will undergo a medical before signing a loan deal until the summer of 2023.
Marquinhos leaving Arsenal for Norwich City on loan

Good decision?
In our view, Arsenal are making a good decision in sending Marquinhos out loan for the rest of the season.
The Brazilian is not getting regular playing time at the Gunners at the moment, and that is not going to change in the coming months.
There is no point in the teenager, described as “a huge talent” by his Arsenal teammate and Brazilian compatriot Gabriel Martinelli on Hayters TV in November 2022, warming the bench at the Emirates Stadium or playing youth team football.
Norwich City are aiming to finish in the Championship playoffs this season.
So, Marquinhos would be playing in a very competitive environment and for a club who are striving for promotion to the Premier League.
We know that the Championship is a very tough and competitive domestic league, and playing in the second division of English football for a few months would build character.
Marquinhos would be a better and more mature player after his loan spell at Norwich and would have a better understand of what is needed to succeed in English football.
