Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal, Graham Potter’s Chelsea and Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United all want to sign Declan Rice from David Moyes’s West Ham United in the summer transfer window, according to talkSPORT.

Arsenal and Manchester United have to pay £120m+ for Declan Rice

The report has claimed that Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United all are keen on securing the services of Rice at the end of the season.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta reportedly registered an interest in the England international midfielder in the January transfer window, and the indication was that the player was keen on a move to the Gunners.

Manchester United made a bid of £100 million for Rice last summer, but the Hammers turned it down.

The report has claimed that West Ham want £120million plus add-ons for Rice in the summer of 2023.

Huge transfer fee

It is a massive transfer fee.

Massive.

If Arsenal, Manchester United or Chelsea paid £120 million for Declan Rice, then it would make the West Ham United midfielder the most expensive English player ever.

It would also be a British record signing.

It will be interesting to see if Arsenal, Chelsea or Manchester United actually pay that sum.

Now, we know that Rice is a very good player.

The England international, who can also operate as a defender, was described as “perfect” and “wonderful” by former Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool midfielder Danny Murphy on talkSPORT in January 2023.

But is he worth £120 million?
