Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal and Unai Emery’s Aston Villa may not be able to sign Luiz Henrique from Real Betis in the January transfer window.

Luiz Henrique blow for Arsenal and Aston Villa

GiveMeSport have reported that Villa want to sign Luiz Henrique in the final two days of the January transfer window.

The Villans have reportedly scouted the 22-year-old forward.

However, according to the report, the Brazilian forward is in no rush to leave Spanish club Real Betis now.

Luiz Henrique knows that he will have other options further down the line.

Arsenal have also been linked with the youngter.

Earlier this month, ABC Sevilla claimed that Arsenal and Manchester United are interested in the youngster and actively scouting the 22-year-old.

One for the future

In our view, Arsenal and Aston Villa should continue to keep monitoring Luiz Henrique at Real Betis.

The Brazilian is still a very young player who is developing his game.

The 22-year-old is quite sensible as it seems that he does not want to rush into leaving Betis in the middle of the season.

It shows that the forward wants to work on his game and is serious about having a long and successful career.

So far this season, Luiz Henrique has made 13 starts and three substitute appearances in La Liga for Betis.

The 22-year-old has scored one goal and given one assist in those matches.

The Brazilian forward has also made three starts and three substitute appearances in the UEFA Europa League for Betis so far this campaign.

Luiz Henrique has scored two goals and provided two assists in those matches.
