Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal could make a bid for Liverpool target and Juventus winger Federico Chiesa in the January transfer window, according to CM.
Arsenal could bid for Juventus winger Federico Chiesa
The report in the Italian news outlet has claimed that Arsenal and Liverpool are interested in signing Chiesa from Juventus.
The Gunners could reportedly made a bid for the £54,000-a-week (SalarySport) winger, described as “unbelievable” and “really special” by Italian legend Gianluigi Buffon.
CM have added that former Serie A and UEFA Champions League winners Juventus could sell the Italy international winger due to on and off-pitch issues.
Juventus have been handed a 15-point penalty for false accounting, as reported by The Guardian.
Should the Gunners bid for Chiesa?
In our view, if Arsenal have the chance to sign Federico Chiesa, then they should take it.
The winger has recovered from his long-term injury.

True, the Italian is not at his best yet, but he will get there eventually.
And he is only 25.
Chiesa was brilliant for Fiorentina and Juventus before his injury, and he also helped Italy win the Euro 2020 finals.
True, Arsenal have just signed Belgium international winger Leandro Trossard, but there is always room in the squad for more good players.
And Chiesa is very good.
Arsenal could win the Premier League title this season, and perhaps they will become regulars in the UEFA Champions League in the coming years.
All top and elite teams have multiple superb players in all positions.
Arsenal should strive for that.
