A new claim has emerged about Bayern Munich now shortlisting Arsenal-linked wonderkid Rasmus Hojlund as a potential transfer in the summer.
In February, it was first reported that Mikel Arteta’s side had their sights set on bringing the 20-year-old to the Emirates Stadium.
Now, it seems like Bayern Munich are also enticed by the prospect of getting a transfer for Rasmus Hojlund, priced at £58 million via Manchester Evening News over the line amid interest from Arsenal.

The 20-year-old has 14 goals and six assists in all competitions this campaign and is considered as one of the prodigious strikers in Europe.
So much so that coach Christian Ilzer has compared the youngster to the best No.9 in the world in Erling Haaland as well as Cristiano Ronaldo.
As it seemed like Arsenal could potentially end up as hot favourites to get a transfer for Rasmus Hojlund over the line, journalist Christian Falk has claimed that the player is ‘on the shortlist’ for Bayern.
The German giants have considered the highly-rated talent as a striker they could sign in the summer, alongside Tottenham’s Harry Kane, Napoli’s Victor Osimhen and Eintracht Frankfurt’s Kolo Muani.
HITC View: Arsenal should not be too bothered by this development
Currently, the Gunners not just have Gabriel Jesus on their books but also Eddie Nketiah and Folarin Balogun, with the latter tearing Ligue 1 apart at such a young age.
As a result, bolstering the striker department is not that much of a transfer priority for Arsenal, as it certainly is for Bayern.
While it would be nice to witness how Mikel Arteta works his magic on another young prospect, it is not a particularly big deal, as there are other departments of the side that need strengthening a lot more in comparison.
The league leaders should not be too concerned and instead, ensure that their other targets join the club and that too, within the first few weeks of the window.
