Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal want to sign Marc Guehi from Crystal Palace in the summer transfer window, according to a report.
Arsenal linked with Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi
The Sun have reported that Arsenal have interest in Palace central defender Guehi, described as “an exciting talent” by Eagles chairman Steve Parish on the club’s official website in July 2021.
Interestingly, the 22-year-old is not the only Palace player Arsenal have been linked with.
There is speculation that the Gunners want to sign Ivory Coast international winger Wilfried Zaha as well in the summer transfer window.
Zaha is out of contract at Palace at the end of the season.
The Eagles have offered the former Manchester United winger a new four-year contract worth £10 million per season, according to The Guardian.
The Guardian have reported that Arsenal and Chelsea are among the clubs who “have expressed interest in signing Zaha on a free”.

HITC Verdict: Summer transfer possible
In our view, Arsenal could be able to sign Marc Guehi from London and Premier League rivals Crystal Palace in the summer transfer window.
Yes, Palace are now likely to escape the dreaded drop to the Championship at the end of the season.
And the Eagles and the Gunners are London rivals.
But, Arsenal are a massive club and would be hugely appealing to Guehi.
The 22-year-old is surely a very ambitious defender, and the chance to play for Arsenal and compete for the Premier League and feature in the UEFA Champions League is certainly going to be appealing to the England international.
