Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal are interested in sighing Moussa Diaby from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer transfer window, according to Bild journalist Christian Falk in CaughtOffSide.
The journalist has reported that Arsenal want to sign Diaby and are in touch with the Bayer winger’s agents.
Would Moussa Diaby make Arsenal better?
In our view, Bayer Leverkusen winger Moussa Diaby would be a good signing for Arsenal in the summer transfer window, but the Gunners should be careful about how much they pay.
Arsenal already have good wingers/wide players, and while Diaby is a very good and promising player, he is not at the ‘elite’ level.
Not yet anyway.
Diaby is still only 23 and is progressing as a footballer, so Arsenal should not pay ridiculous transfer fee for him.
Diaby – who is “exciting” and “quick and tricky”, according to European football expert Kevin Hatchard, is under contract at German club Bayer until the summer of 2025.

The winger has scored eight goals and given four assists in 22 Bundesliga matches so far this season.
The Frenchman has scored one goal in three UEFA Europa League matches, and has scored two goals in six UEFA Champions League matches this campaign.
