Juventus are reportedly open to the idea of letting Adrien Rabiot leave the club for free in an attempt to save costs in the summer, with Arsenal and Liverpool both recently being linked to the midfielder.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Serie A giants are keen to let as many as five first-team players walk this summer for absolutely nothing, with Rabiot one of the main names involved, alongside the likes of Angel Di Maria, Alex Sandro and Juan Cuadrado.

90min had recently claimed that Arsenal and Liverpool were interested in the France international, and based on the season Rabiot is currently having, it won’t be too surprising to see either Premier League side to try and snap up the Juventus superstar if he is to leave for free.

Lauded by Xavi Hernandez as a ‘complete’ midfielder, Rabiot has been arguably Juventus’ best player this season and was a star for France at the 2022 FIFA World Cup. And with the 28-year-old now set to walk for nothing, a potential bargain could be in the works.

Indeed, both Arsenal and Liverpool are keen to sign a world-class midfielder in the summer, and whilst Rabiot might be a left-field suggestion, the Frenchman’s form this season clearly suggests that the World Cup finalist has the quality to flourish in the Premier League.

Although a deal could still be expensive given the midfielder’s wage demands, Rabiot has the potential to excel in England, and if both Arsenal and Liverpool miss out on key targets in the summer, the Juventus maestro could be a perfect plan B for either English side.

Rabiot’s redemption arch this season has been as amazing to watch as it has been hard to believe, with the midfielder one of the best in Serie A this campaign in what has arguably bee the Frenchman’s best year since his PSG days. And a move to the Premier League now feels very likely.

After all, Rabiot has been linked with a move to England for years, and with Juventus now open to offloading the midfielder for free, an Arsenal or Liverpool could be tempted to take a punt on the former PSG superstar, who could impress in the Premier League with the right team.
