Arsenal are reportedly keeping an eye on the Belgian youngster.
According to Italian outlet CalcioMercato.com, Arsenal are keeping track of PSV Eindhoven youngster Matthias Verreth.
The youngster made his debut for the Dutch side in February this year and has made six appearances for the first team this season.
It is in the youth ranks where he has really made his mark, playing a key role for Belgian’s Under 17 side that made it to the semi-finals of the Under 17 European Championships back in 2014/15.

Predominantly a right-winger, the 18-year-old can also play on the opposite wing and has been used as both a striker and an attacking midfielder, and has been labelled as the next Dries Mertens.
That sort of tag has caught the attention of some of Europe’s big sides, according to CalcioMercato, and Arsenal are among them.

The website reports that the Gunners have sent scouts to watch him in Holland but are facing competition fro Italian giants AC Milan for his services.
Another potential stumbling block is his current deal, which expires in 2019 and includes a one-year extension option for PSV to take up should they wish.
