Inter Milan reportedly want €60m (£52m) if they’re to sell Denzel Dumfries in the January transfer window, with Arsenal and Tottenham both being linked with the Netherlands right-back.
According to Radio Radio, the Nerazzurri are open to offloading the 26-year-old following an impressive 2022 FIFA World Cup with Holland, with 90min reporting that Dumfries is wanted by Tottenham and CalcioMercatoWeb claiming that Arsenal are also chasing the defender.
Inter have to make one major sale in January if they’re to resolve their financial issues, and Dumfries is establishing himself as an ideal candidate to leave the San Siro next month, where the Serie A giants have now named their price to sell the fullback.
Dumfries was exceptional in Qatar this winter as the defensive speedster impressed for Holland despite crashing out in the quarter-final stages at the hands of Argentina, with Martin Keown hailing the Inter star as ‘quality’ at the World Cup.

Indeed, with Tottenham on the hunt for a right-back, Dumfries would be an enticing option for Antonio Conte, though at £52m, the Italian manager might have some reservations about spending so much on a right-back with little room to get any better than his current level of quality.
However, given Inter’s precarious financial situation, the Serie A side could be tempted to slightly lower their asking price in order to sell Dumfries, especially if clubs such as Arsenal and Tottenham are interested in signing the Inter superstar.
Inter could easily sell Dumfries if they lower asking price

Dumfries was one of the best-performing defenders at the World Cup this winter, and for Inter, the interest is certainly there for a club to swoop in for the Dutch superstar. Though the Nerazzurri must first lower the £52m transfer fee for the 26-year-old.
After all, few clubs will spend over £50m for a right-back, let alone one who isn’t considered by many as one of the best in the world. And for Inter, their new valuation for Dumfries could severely hinder the Milan-based side in their attempts to sell the defender in January.
