Arsenal reportedly see Ugochukwu as the next Patrick Vieira and are considering making a bid for the Frenchman this summer.
The Gunners have been following the 18-year-old for months and are more and more convinced about making a move.
Arsenal’s bitter North London rivals Tottenham are also keen on securing the services of the France Under-18 international midfielder in the summer transfer window, according to L’Equipe.

In our opinion, Ugochukwu would be a good signing for Arsenal or Tottenham in the summer transfer window.
The 18-year-old is a very good and combative player who can hold his own in the middle of the park.
And he is just a teenager, which means that he is only going to grow and develop his game even further.
Ugochukwu has made three starts and 10 substitute appearances in Ligue 1 for Rennes so far this season, scoring one goal in the process.
It will be interesting to see if Arsenal and Tottenham do eventually make a bid for the youngster, and how much Rennes ask for him.
