One former Arsenal player could reportedly get a big, big move when the transfer window opens.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, Paris Saint-Germain could sign Mathieu Debuchy as a replacement for soon-to-be free agent Thomas Meunier.

Debuchy has been impressing at Saint-Etienne in recent seasons following a disastrous stint at Arsenal.

The Gunners spent £12 million on the French right-back in 2014 but Debuchy managed only 968 minutes of Premier League football during his three-and-a-half year stay.

Two years ago, Arsenal terminated his contract [BBC Sport] and now suddenly one of the biggest clubs in Europe reportedly want him.

In Debuchy’s defence, he was never a bad player for the Emirates Stadium club, but several long-term injuries denied him the chance to be an ever-present figure.

The emergence of Hector Bellerin then made him something of an also-ran under Arsene Wenger, even when he was fit.

But he’s been enjoying his football in Ligue 1 again over the past two-and-a-half years, making 60 league appearances in total.
