Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal will reportedly have to pay €25 million (£20.80 million) if they want to sign Noa Lang, a player Marcelo Bielsa decided against signing for Leeds United.
Gazzetta dello Sport have reported that Arsenal are competing with AC Milan for the signature of Club Brugge winger Lang in the summer transfer window.
The 22-year-old winger himself prefers a move to Milan to a transfer to Arsenal.
The report has added that Arsenal and Milan have been told to pay €25 million (£20.80 million) for the Netherlands international winger.
Leeds United decision on Noa Lang concern for Arsenal?
Lang is a very talented and promising young winger who is an assist kind for Club Brugge.
The 22-year-old has scored six goals and given 11 assists in 25 league matches so far this season
During the 2020-21 campaign, Lang scored 16 goals and gave seven assists in 26 league games.

That is very impressive.
However, Bielsa’s decision not to sign Lang for Leeds when he was in charge of the West Yorkshire club is a potential concern.
The Athletic reported in September 2021 that Leeds were keen on signing the winger in the summer of 2021.
However, Bielsa decided against it.
Why?
Well, according to the report, the then Leeds head coach was concerned about the 22-year-old winger’s ‘defensive capabilities’.
Now, we know that Arsenal are a very good and stable team where the attackers are expected to do their fair share of defensive work.
Would Lang be able to do that?
