Arsenal fans are hoping for big signings in the final weeks of the transfer window, and few would have had Matchoi Djalo on their wish lists.

The Gunners have already brought in Nuno Tavares, Ben White and Albert Sambi Lokonga as Mikel Arteta looks to improve on last season.

Arsenal have also struck a deal to sign Fulham’s young striker Mika Biereth, and another addition for the future could be on the horizon.

The Sun report that Arsenal want to sign Pacos de Ferreira talent Matchoi Djalo, and believe he would only cost £1million.

Djalo would absolutely be one for the future at the age of just 18, with only eight senior games under his belt right now.

Capable of playing out wide or as a number 10, Arsenal may see potential in Djalo – and a comparison in Italy looks interesting.

Tuttomercatoweb report that Djalo is the ‘new Nani’, branding him a ‘good quality winger’ and ‘a skilled crosser’, backing him for a big future.

Nani was a thorn in Arsenal’s side on more than one occasion during his time at Manchester United, bagging three goals and four assists in just nine outings against the Gunners.

United paid big money to sign Nani from Sporting, and signing Djalo – a player with that kind of potential – for just £1million could be very appealing.
