Arsenal target Georgiy Sudakov has compared himself to Tottenham Hotspur star James Maddison ahead of a potential summer transfer.
Shakhtar Donetsk ace Georgiy Sudakov has now likened himself to James Maddison and Phil Foden amid claims Arsenal want him.
Shakhtar made one big sale in January of this year, selling winger Mykhailo Mudryk to Chelsea.
The Ukrainian side may do the same again in January 2024 with playmaker Sudakov now wanted in England.
Arsenal leading race to sign Shakhtar Donetsk ace Georgiy Sudakov
Sudakov has shown big potential this season, even if three goals and one assist in 13 games may not look like an incredible record.
The 21-year-old is now attracting major interest with TEAMtalk claiming that Arsenal and Manchester City both want Sudakov.
Juventus are keen too, whilst Brighton and Hove Albion are interested, alongside two unnamed Portuguese clubs.
Arsenal have been tracking Sudakov since identifying Mudryk as a target last season, but Edu will now face a major battle for his signature.
The Gunners famously missed out on Mudryk and won’t want a repeat situation with Shakhtar’s new hot property Sudakov.

Sudakov compares himself to James Maddison
Sudakov predominantly plays as an attacking midfielder and has now compared himself to two England players.
Speaking to The Telegraph, Sudakov has suggested that his style of play is similar to that of James Maddison or Phil Foden.
That is pretty bold stuff from Sudakov, but this is certainly the kind of thing which can excite Arsenal supporters.
Maddison has been exceptional for Tottenham this season whilst Foden remains one of the top talents in the country.
Both players offer real goal threat as well as creativity in the final third, proving to be flexible attacking threats.
Arsenal would love to add a player like Maddison or Foden, and Sudakov may well be their man after a strong start to the season.
