Arsenal could be in the market for another striker this summer, and Dominic Calvert-Lewin is the latest name to be linked.
There are major questions marks over the futures of Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah with just a year left on their contracts.
Arsenal are looking at potential striker signings, and there are now links with Everton star Dominic Calvert-Lewin in a big-money move.
Arsenal’s pursuit of Calvert-Lewin
The Telegraph reported on Tuesday that Arsenal fancy signing Calvert-Lewin, with the report stating that the Gunners ‘admire’ Calvert-Lewin.
Calvert-Lewin bagged 16 goals in the Premier League last season, impressing as a physical striker, a real aerial threat and a penalty box poacher.
Real Madrid are allegedly keen too with a £50million price tag on his head, meaning Arsenal will have to dig deep to pull off a deal.

Calvert-Lewin’s love for Thierry Henry
Calvert-Lewin may have grown up supporting Sheffield United, but he had a great love for Arsenal hero Thierry Henry too.
Speaking to Sky Sports in May 2020, Calvert-Lewin admitted that Arsenal legend Henry was his favourite player and he would always try and get shirts with Henry on the back.
If Calvert-Lewin ends up joining Arsenal, he would have the opportunity to follow in the footsteps of his boyhood hero and don the famous red and white shirt – surely appealing to the Everton man.
