Arsenal may have a real chance to sign Djibril Sow this summer as the midfielder seeks a move from Eintracht Frankfurt.
The Gunners are likely to be assessing a whole host of potential midfield signings for this summer.
Declan Rice and Amadou Onana seem to be two prime targets for Arsenal if Premier League rivals West Ham United and Everton will sell.
Arsenal could look further afield though with Eintracht Frankfurt star Djibril Sow thought to be on Edu’s wish list.
Bild reported in December that Arsenal have joined the race to sign Sow, alongside Newcastle United and Nottingham Forest.
Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg now claims that Sow ‘wants to leave’ Frankfurt this summer.
It’s stated that an extension beyond 2024 is out of the question at the moment and Sow is looking for a move away.
Now valued at just €15million (£13million), Sow could be a bargain for Arsenal inside the final 18 months of his contract.

Djibril Sow is a big fan of Arsenal’s Granit Xhaka
Sow has proven himself to be a quality midfielder in the Bundesliga.
Often deployed as a box-to-box player, Sow has also shown that he can play a more defensive role too.
That versatility would be welcome at Arsenal and a move would see Sow reunite with Granit Xhaka.
Sow has racked up 36 caps for Switzerland and was with Xhaka at the World Cup in Qatar.
The 26-year-old also followed a similar path to Xhaka, leaving Swiss football to join Borussia Monchengladbach.
That move didn’t work out but Sow bounced back with Young Boys and now Frankfurt.
Sow has heaped praise on Xhaka in the media, telling Sport1 that he feels Xhaka is a ‘role model’ and a ‘leader’ to him.
The prospect of joining forces at Arsenal will surely appeal to Sow and a bargain move could be in the pipeline for this summer.
