Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin has been a revelation since his induction to the first-team setup.
The Guardian are reporting this morning that Gunners youngster Hector Bellerin is close to agreeing new terms with the club, after his agent held positive talks with the Arsenal hierarchy over the past week.
The 21-year-old Spain international has become an integral member of Arsene Wenger’s first-team, and has already made 87 appearances for the Gunners after making his debut for the club in September 2013.

The Guardian report that although no formal agreement has been reached, talks are progressing well after the player’s agent Albert Bovines spent last week talking with Arsenal officials, and it is expected that Bellerin will commit his future to the north London club
Bovines spoke directly to the Guardian, and had this to say regarding his client’s future:
“We are speaking and are now a lot closer than we were two weeks ago. In a normal situation he will sign. Hector is very happy at Arsenal. This would be the fourth time he has signed a new contract at the club and it is clear he has made good progress.”

With clubs such as Manchester City and Barcelona showing reported interest in Bellerin, it will be quite a statement of the Spaniard’s love for Arsenal if he does eventually go on to sign a new deal at the Emirates.
With Arsenal superstars Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez also deep in discussions with the club over new contracts, the next few months could be vitally important for the Gunners as they look to tie down the futures’ of arguably their three best players.
