Yaya Sanogo has been getting the fans going ahead of the Chelsea game on Saturday.
Arsenal’s title challenge is, perhaps according to some, all but over – but an uninspiring performance, needed result and magnificent goal in the North London derby will have spirits high.
Not to mention the fact this happens to be a week of celebration at the club – as Arsene Wenger prepares to embark on his 1,000th game as Arsenal manager.
With that in mind it is certainly a game that they will want to win.
The game, which will be played at Stamford Bridge in a lunchtime kick-off this Saturday, is also important in the title-race – as Arsenal can put their names well and truly back in the hat for potential title success with an away victory.
Of course that is not going to be easy – considering the exceptional record Jose Mourinho has at home with Chelsea.
So one Gunner has reached out to the fans for a little bit of help this weekend.
Being a London derby a large Arsenal contingent will be expected at The Bridge anyway – and Yaya Sanogo has taken to Twitter to implore more to come and those that do to get right behind their team:
Sanogo will not be likely to start the game – but he will hope to use his cheerleading skills to good effect from the touchline – and get his side’s fans roaring Arsenal on to an important victory.
