Theo Walcott says that he is looking forward to Arsenal’s Premier League clash against Burnley at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday.
Arsenal forward Theo Walcott has given a massive hint that he could make his Premier League comeback this weekend.
The England international has not featured in a single competitive fixture since January, when he sustained a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament of his left knee during a FA Cup tie against Tottenham Hotspur.
The 25-year-old has now fully recovered and seems to be ready for match action. The former Southampton star was on the Arsenal substitutes’ bench for their Premier League clash against Sunderland last weekend.
Walcott has now hinted that he could feature against Burnley at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday.
On Wednesday, the Englishman took to social media to update the Arsenal fans on his fitness and seems excited for the match against Burnley.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger will perhaps not be too eager to start Walcott against Burnley, but the Frenchman could well bring him late on.
The Gunners are expected to win against Sean Dyche’s side, and if they are two goals up in the second period, then Walcott could well be brought off the bench.
