Santi Cazorla is one of the more experienced members of Arsenal’s squad, and sees Hector Bellerin as an important player for the club’s future.
Santi Cazorla has shared the advice that he and Nacho Monreal have given their Arsenal and Spain teammate Hector Bellerin, during an exclusive interview with the club’s official website.
The 21-year-old right-back has become one of Arsene Wenger’s most important players over the past year or so, and has fully established himself as first-choice in his position.
Cazorla, 31, spoke to Arsenal.com, and discussed how he and Monreal try their best to help Bellerin in his development at the Emirates:

“We talk a lot with him, me or Nacho [Monreal], of our experience with the squad, what it’s like, and we try to advise him. He’s very mature for his age, but we will try to help him so he keeps developing because he will be a player who is very important for Arsenal.”
The Sun reported earlier this week that Bellerin has put pen-to-paper on a new six-year deal with the Gunners worth £30 million, that will see him become one of the club’s highest earners, although there has been no official line released from Arsenal to confirm the new deal as yet.

Cazorla went on to share the message he gave the young Spaniard after he was included in his nation’s Euro 2016 squad:
“I texted him when the official Euro 2016 list came out, and he found out he was in the final 23. I told him to enjoy it because I was lucky enough to play in two European Championships and know how lucky I am. That’s what I wanted to transmit to him.”
Bellerin is currently out injured, after being ruled out for up to a month with an ankle knock.
The Spaniard will most certainly be missed by Arsenal over the coming weeks as they head into a spell of vitally important games.
