Arsenal thrashed Charlton Athletic 6-0 at the weekend in a warm-up friendly before the season restarts.
Yesterday they played another, and it was not such a successful result.
Arsenal slumped to a 3-2 loss against Championship side Brentford, who will be fighting to win promotion when the league resumes.
The most worrying part of the loss for Arsenal was the individual error from striker Alexandre Lacazette.
Arsenal’s official website reported: “Lacazette was robbed of possession in his own half before Halil Dervisoglu was sent through to send a low strike inside the far post.”
It is the sort of mistake which would have Arsenal fans cursing him in frustration if committed in a big game.

Arsenal will need to be sharper when the league resumes against Manchester City in a week’s time.
If they are making errors which Brentford punish them with, then the prospect of facing Kevin de Bruyne and co could be a harsh wake up call.
In a way it is good for this to happen now. That’s what these friendlies are about, to shake the rustiness off.
For Arsenal’s sake, they will have to hope they leave the sloppy performances behind with this friendly, and are a lot sharper next week.
