Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal are again keen on signing Tino Livramento – less than two years since seemingly snubbing interest from the Gunners.
CBS Sports reporter Ben Jacobs has told Caught Offside that Arsenal are interested in signing Livramento – but it may be a while until a move is made.
Jacobs claims that Arsenal and Manchester City plan to track Livramento’s development ahead of possible moving for him in 2024.
Livramento suffered a major knee injury in April of last year, tearing his anterior cruciate ligament.
Livramento then encountered a setback in January and it’s unclear whether he will actually make an appearance this season.
For all of Livramento’s ability and potential, it’s hard to justify a summer deal when the right back may not have played for an entire year.
Livramento is on the Arsenal radar and maybe that shouldn’t be a major surprise after their 2021 chase.

Tino Livramento picked Southampton move despite Arsenal interest
The Daily Mail reported in August 2021 that Arsenal were in the race to try and sign Livramento from Chelsea.
Southampton managed to win the race, paying just £5million to sign Livramento after showing promise in the Chelsea ranks.
Livramento was just 18 at the time and whilst Arsenal may have viewed him as one for the future, Southampton were willing to give him immediate playing time.
That may well have helped Livramento’s decision to go to Southampton in the hope of earning himself a big move down the line.
Livramento impressed last season and showed real promise with his pace and ability going forward.
Hailed as ‘fantastic’ by former Gunners ace Theo Walcott, Livramento could become a superstar in the future and he’s certainly still on Arsenal’s radar.
Arsenal appear to be keen on signing a young right back for the future having also targeted Real Valladolid talent Ivan Fresneda in recent times.
Livramento is of a similar profile and having missed out less than two years ago, Arsenal may well be lining up to try again for the Southampton talent.
