Arsenal have been linked with a surprise move for Ousmane Dembele.

Liverpool have had the most impressive transfer window of last season’s top six, attacking the market with determination.

Arsenal are one major transfer away from managing to better them.

Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo report the Gunners are eyeing up a late move for Barcelona superstar Ousmane Dembele, who has struggled to settle at the Camp Nou.

Just this weekend he was spotted in London socialising with Arsenal stars Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Arsenal’s transfer activity has so far been busy, just lacking star power.

New manager Unai Emery has made solid additions, with Lucas Torreira the pick. Another addition, prospect Mateo Guendouzi has looked fantastic in pre-season too.

Dembele would take Arsenal’s transfer activity grade from solid, to outstanding.

With majority shareholder Stan Kroenke ruffling feathers with his planned total takeover of the club, splashing out on a big name signing is the ideal way to placate unhappy fans.

Liverpool’s transfer activity has been impressive, signing goalkeeper Alisson, Fabinho, Xherdan Shaqiri, and Naby Keita.

But ever since they went for Nabil Fekir and failed, it has seemed like there is something missing.
