The summer transfer window won’t be open for another few months, but some clubs like to get their business done early, very early.

Indeed, while it feels like January was only a few weeks ago, some summer transfer deals have already been brokered at some of the biggest clubs in Europe.

Of course, there are still more to come, but today, we’re going to look at five summer transfers that are already done deals.

Matt Turner to Arsenal

Arsenal are yet to announce this one officially, but New England Revolution have already confirmed that the 27-year-old goalkeeper will be heading to the Emirates this summer.

The goalkeeper is currently out injured with a broken foot, but he will be headed to Arsenal once the transfer window opens.

Turner’s arrival may well spell the end for Bernd Leno at Arsenal.

Harry Wilson to Fulham

The FA’s list of transactions for the 2021/22 season showed that Harry Wilson hasn’t actually joined Fulham permanently yet, despite the fact both clubs announced this as if it were a long-term deal.

Wilson is currently only on loan at Fulham, but with the Whites’ promotion secured and a deal agreed until 2026, the only thing left to do here is to make the move official.

Nicklas Sule to Borussia Dortmund

For years, Bayern Munich have been pinching Borussia Dortmund’s best players, from Robert Lewandowski to Mario Gotze, but now, Dortmund have managed to get their own back on their rivals.

Indeed, Nicklas Sule’s contract is up in the summer, and it’s already been announced that he will be joining Dortmund on a free transfer.

Hwang Hee-Chan to Wolves

The South Korean has enjoyed a good debut season in the Premier League, and in January, Wolves announced that they will be exercising their option to make Hwang’s loan move permanent in the summer.

Bruno Lage’s side look to have landed a real gem here.

Lorenzo Insigne to Toronto FC

One of Serie A’s biggest stars will be playing in MLS next season.

At the age of just 31, Insigne is bidding farewell to Napoli in order to head over to Canada this summer, and that’s something of a shocking move. After all, Insigne is still a regular for the Italian national team.
