Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus has suffered an injury at the 2022 Qatar World Cup while playing for Brazil, and we think that the Gunners should go all out for Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic in the January transfer draw.
Well-known and well-respected journalist Fabrizio Romano has reported on Twitter today that Arsenal striker Jesus will not play for Brazil again at the ongoing World Cup in Qatar.
The 25-year-old suffered a knee injury while playing against Cameroon on Friday evening.
Romano has added that Jesus, who joined Arsenal from Manchester City in the summer of 2022, is expected to return to action for the Gunners in January.
Now, that is not too bad for Arsenal as Jesus could miss maybe two or three matches, but you never know how long it could take for the striker to get into form.
After all, you cannot expect a player to hit the ground running after an injury.
Eddie Nketiah is a good striker, but can you expect him to bang in the goals in the absence of Jesus?

Arsenal should bid for Dusan Vlahovic after Gabriel Jesus injury news
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta reportedly wants to sign Vlahovic in the summer of 2023, and we think that the Gunners need to bring that plan forward to January 2022.
CMW reported in September that manager Mikel Arteta has told Arsenal to bid for Vlahovic as well as his Juventus teammate Fabio Miretti in 2023.
The same Italian news outlet reported this week that Juventus value the striker at €85 million (£73 million).
If that is the case, then Arsenal should pay the £73 million needed to sign the Serbia international striker and bring him to the Emirates Stadium in January.
Vlahovic had the chance to move to Arsenal in January 2022 before he switched to Juventus from Fiorentina.
As reported by Sky Sports in January 2022, the 22-year-old Serbian wanted only to move to Juventus and turned down a potential switch to the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal signed Jesus in the summer of 2022, which suggests that if they had got Vlahovic, then they may not have gone for the Brazil international.
Juve are having financial issues and problems at boardroom level, and Arsenal should at least try to tempt them with an offer.
