The Manchester City midfielder would be an excellent addition for Arsenal.

According to a report from Italian publication TuttoMercatoWeb, Manchester City are prepared to sell Ilkay Gundogan for just €25 million (£21.5 million) this summer, and Arsenal should not hesitate to bring the German to the Emirates.
The 28-year-old joined City from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2016 for around £20 million, and despite spending large periods of time on the sidelines through injury, he has proven to be a hit at the Etihad.
And his skillset is perfect for the Gunners.
Aaron Ramsey is leaving Arsenal for Juventus this summer, and replacing the Welshman will surely be one of Unai Emery’s top priorities.
The problem for the north London outfit, however, is that that will not come cheap, so Gundogan for £21.5 million seems like a no-brainer.
Whilst the German does not have Ramey’s energy, he certainly makes up for that with his wonderful array of passing, excellent positioning and understanding of the game.

He is also vastly experienced in winning – something that Arsenal currently lack in their squad.
The Gunners might not have extortionate funds to spend this summer, so Gundogan would be the perfect option for them.
Whether City would be willing to sell to Arsenal, however, is another matter entirely.
