Inter Milan seemingly want the Arsenal defender – should Arsene Wenger engineer a swap?
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Inter Milan are interested in signing Arsenal centre-back Shkodran Mustafi before the month is out.
The Gunners, according to the report, are keen on loaning him out if anything, having spent £34 million on him last summer, but it seems unlikely that manager Arsene Wenger would agree to this for the same reason.

The France international is training on his own at Inter following a bust-up with coach Luciano Spalleti which saw him fined £200,000, as reported by talkSPORT.
It seems unlikely that the 24-year-old will be able to reconcile his differences with the Nerazzurri and a transfer seems very possible – and he is ideal for Arsenal.
Wenger needs a power player of Kondogbia’s ilk in midfield, and fans of the North London club berated their manager for not signing Blaise Matuidi, set for a £18 million move to Juventus in the coming days.
Losing Mustafi, who had a modest first season with the Gunners, would leave the Premier League side with a hole in central defence, especially with Gabriel set to join Valencia, but there is still time for the 67-year-old veteran to draft in a replacement.
Wenger could find a better centre-back than Mustafi, but there are precious few better midfielders available than Kondogbia.
