Arsenal have made a new move for Mykhaylo Mudryk with Shakhtar Donetsk now weighing up whether to sell the winger this month.
The Gunners made their first move last week with Fabrizio Romano reporting that a €40million offer plus €20million in add-ons had been submitted.
That converts to around £35million plus £17.5million in add-ons, taking the deal up to £52.5million.
Shakhtar rejected that proposal, believing that Mudryk is worth closer to £85million as they used Antony and Jack Grealish’s moves as benchmark prices.
Arsenal seemingly have no plans to offer that kind of money but they are at least coming back in with a new offer.

Reports from Yehor Danylov, the editor of Ukrainian site Sport Arena, suggest that Arsenal have made their second offer and Shakhtar are weighing it up.
Fabrizio Romano has now moved to confirm those claims, stating that an improved proposal from Arsenal is indeed on the table.
Ben Jacobs of CBS Sports has added that the offer is still below €70million (£62million).
Shakhtar allegedly want €55million (£49million) up front and the structure of Arsenal’s offer will be absolutely vital.
Jacobs adds that Mudryk has already agreed personal terms with Arsenal, with the player keen to make the move.
Mudryk has been angling to join Arsenal for a while now, even taking to Instagram to show himself watching Arsenal beat West Ham and then praise Gunners boss Mikel Arteta just a couple of days ago.
The 21-year-old winger has been sensational this season, smashing 10 gaols and eight assists in just 18 appearances for Shakhtar.
A wide man with blistering pace, Mudryk could give Arsenal yet another attacking threat in their search for the Premier League title.
The ball is now in Shakhtar’s court but Arsenal will hope to have succeeded with their second offer.
