Arsenal are currently negotiating with several of their big stars
Arsenal secretary David Miles has told BT Sport that things are progressing well in regards to players signing new deals at the club.
The Gunners are currently negotiating with several of their first team stars about extending their deals at the Emirates.
Chief among them are Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez, with both players currently only having 18 months left on their respective deals.
Recent reports have suggested that negotiations have hit something of an impasse because of the demands that both players are making in regards to wages.

However, if Miles is to be believed, all is going well in regards to getting their key men on improved contracts.
“Of course, we know talks are ongoing with certain players and certain contracts. At the moment, things are looking pretty good in that way,” he told BT Sport.

In regards to Ozil and Sanchez, Arsenal will certainly be praying that they can get both players signed to new contracts.
The duo are key men in Arsene Wenger’s side and being forced to sell them next summer would prove devastating to the club moving forward, especially given the form they have shown this season.
At the same time, the club cannot be held to ransom by their star men and it will be interesting to see if a compromise is eventually made by both parties.
