Arsenal are back in the hunt for Galatasaray right back Sacha Boey having scouted him in action over the weekend.

Sacha Boey has been watched by Arsenal after strong rumours surrounding a summer move to the Emirates Stadium.

That is according to a report from Fotospor, who claim that English interest in signing Boey is now mounting.

The Champions League returns tonight and Galatasaray will be looking for another scalp after beating Manchester United.

The Turkish side take on Bayern Munich this evening and can take a big step towards the knockout stages with a win tonight.

Arsenal interested in signing Sacha Boey

Galatasaray stars may be attracting interest and it looks like Arsenal are keen on right back Boey once again.

Fotospor in Turkey report that Arsenal are one of a host of English clubs scouting Boey.

Brighton and Hove Albion, Burnley and Manchester United are all thought to have joined Arsenal in scouting Boey against Besiktas over the weekend.

Boey helped Galatasaray beat Besiktas 2-1 and played the full 90 minutes in front of a host of scouts.

Interested clubs may well be keen to watch Boey in Champions League action today too with Galatasaray facing Bayern Munich.

Boey excelled against Manchester United earlier this month and could add to the ever-growing hype with another strong display this evening.

Arsenal have fancied Boey for a while now

Right back Boey is not a new name when it comes to the Arsenal rumour mill.

The Telegraph reported in May that Arsenal were seriously considering a move to bring Boey to North London.

A £20million move was thought to be in the offing with Arsenal seeking more depth at right back.

Jurrien Timber ended up arriving but he is more of a centre back and is expected to miss most of the season through injury.

The Frenchman has been hailed as ‘amazing’ by former Arsenal right back Bacary Sagna and Boey could now be back on the Arsenal wish list.

Mounting Premier League interest means Arsenal could face a battle but the Gunners could finally make their move in 2024.
