Arsenal are interested in signing Malcom from Barcelona in the January transfer window, according to The Sun.

It has been reported by the British tabloid that the Gunners have asked Barcelona for the 21-year-old attacker on loan.

The British tabloid has also claimed that Barca will demand £50 million for the Brazilian if they sell him this month.

Competition for Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham Hotspur have already been linked with a move for Malcom in the January transfer window.

A report in Sport earlier this month claimed that Barcelona and Tottenham have been negotiating over a loan transfer for the youngster.

It was also reported that the 21-year-old was very likely to sign for manager Mauricio Pochettino’s team.

However, with Arsenal now reportedly in the race for Malcom, it does appear that Tottenham are facing competition for the 21-year-old.

Good signing for Arsenal or Tottenham Hotspur

Malcom may have struggled to make a huge impact at Barcelona so far this season, but the 21-year-old winger is a very good player who can be an asset for Arsenal or Tottenham in the second half of the season.
