Arsene Wenger has reportedly made Monaco’s Thomas Lemar his top target in the upcoming summer transfer window.
According to reports from The Mirror, Arsene Wenger is a huge fan of Lemar, and wants him to join the Gunners in the next season.
The Gunners are desperate to rebuild the squad next season and want Lemar in the side, despite his price tag, which is in excess of £25 million.
The 21-year-old has been outstanding for Monaco this season and played a key role in taking his club into the Champions League semi-finals.
What is special about this youngster is his technical ability and maturity to adapt to various tactical systems.

His versatility has also grabbed eye balls. Although he prefers playing on the left wing, he is equally capable of playing across all three positions upfront.
This tremendous versatility is what makes Lemar a need of the hour for Spurs. He could be the x-factor for the North Londoners, which many feel the side is lacking at the moment.
Lemar has made 31 appearances for Monaco this season in Ligue 1, where he has scored nine goals and provided seven assists. With 1.8 shots and 2.1 key passes per game [via whoscored], he has showcased an all-round attacking ability.
He would not only add depth to the squad (certainly playing at a higher level than the likes of Kevin N’Koudou, Moussa Sissoko or Clinton N’Jie) but would seamlessly walk into the starting lineup.
Lemar is far from being the finished product, but he is an exciting young talent who can develop into a world class player.
