Reports from France have linked Arsenal with Boulaye Dia.

According to Le10 Sport, the goal-shy Gunners are interested in signing the Stade Reims marksman.

Arsenal desperately need goals and have only scored 10 of them in 12 Premier League games this season, culminating in them sitting 15th in the table.

But Dia might be the man to solve that issue.

In 12 Ligue 1 games, the 24-year-old striker has eight goals, which is more than Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah combined.

In fact, the only player in France to score more than Dia this season is PSG hitman Kylian Mbappe, who has 10.

Dia also has a commanding five-goal lead over Mbappe’s team-mate Neymar, who only has three in seven league outings for the French champions.

Whether he can stay that close to Mbappe until the end of the season is another thing, but Dia clearly has a bit about him and Arsenal fans should be encouraged by the prospect of bringing him to North London.
