Arsenal are joining Liverpool in the race to sign Fluminense midfielder Andre Trindade ahead of the January transfer window.
Liverpool target Andre is now being eyed up by Arsenal after Edu was spotted at Fluminense’s training ground.
That is according to Hora do Flu over in Brazil, as they claim that Arsenal are now keen to sign Andre.
Arsenal splashed out on a big midfield signing over the summer as Declan Rice arrived from West Ham United.
Yet with Thomas Partey’s injury problems continuing and question marks still hanging over Jorginho, Arsenal could go for another midfielder.

Arsenal fancy signing Fluminense’s Andre
It’s now suggested that Arsenal have a real interest in signing Fluminense midfielder Andre and are ready to challenge Liverpool for him.
Liverpool wanted to sign Andre over the summer and had a £26million bid rejected in August according to ESPN.
Fluminense completely refused to sell over the summer due to their hopes of winning the Copa Libertadores.
Fluminense are in the final against Boca Juniors in November, and TEAMtalk claim the expectation is that Andre will be given the green light to leave after that game.
Liverpool are thought to be keen on teeing up a January deal but Arsenal are now ready to make a move of their own.

Edu spotted at Fluminense training ground
The rumours about Andre have accelerated after Arsenal technical director Edu was spotted at Fluminense’s training ground.
Fluminense posted photos of Edu at their training ground on Friday as he headed back to Brazil for the international break.
Edu may well have been asking a few questions about Andre ahead of launching a January move for the midfielder.
Those photos have certainly set tongues wagging with fans wondering whether Edu is trying to set up a January deal for Andre.
Edu will already be well aware of the top talents in Brazil and Andre certainly fits into that category.
The 22-year-old has proven himself to be a quality holding midfield player with real potential to develop over the coming years.
Arsenal may see Andre as a longer-term holding midfield option than Partey or Jorginho, with their interest surely concerning Liverpool ahead of January.
