Arsenal will reportedly rival Tottenham Hotspur for Leeds United starlet Jack Clarke.

According to a report from the Daily Mail, Arsenal have recently joined Tottenham in the race to sign Jack Clarke from Leeds United, as he continues to help the Whites push for promotion.

Clarke has been a revelation at Elland Road this term. He only made his senior debut in October, but has quickly established himself as one of the most dangerous players in Marcelo Bielsa’s squad having been touted as one to keep an eye on from his under-23 days.

The 18-year-old is now reportedly being chased by several Premier League sides. And the Daily Mail is now suggesting that the Gunners have recently started tracking the winger – which sets up an interesting battle with Spurs also chasing Clarke.

The Mail adds Leeds have no plans to sell Clarke this month as they look to capitalise on their current position in the Championship table, so it would appear that the North London pair will have to bide their time before making their respective moves.

Of course, Leeds fans will probably still feel more comfortable once the January window closes despite the hands-off warning.

Clarke did not have the best day at Rotherham at the weekend, but if the Whites are going to get promoted, he is clearly one of the players that is going to make a huge impact for the club over the coming months.
