Reiss Nelson could leave Arsenal for a Premier League rival with multiple top-flight clubs interested in signing him this summer.
That’s according to Fabrizio Romano, who claims that two mystery Premier League clubs are exploring terms to sign Nelson.
The winger’s contract expires this summer and clubs are interested to see what it would take to sign him.
Romano adds that ‘two or three’ foreign clubs are also keen on Nelson as Arsenal face a major decision over this future.
It’s added that the Gunners are yet to even make an offer to extend Nelson’s deal even though he would ‘love’ to stay.
Arsenal still have plenty of time here and English clubs can’t sign him to a pre-contract agreement.
Yet with interest mounting, Mikel Arteta and co need to start thinking about whether they have plans for Nelson moving forward.

It may be time for Reiss Nelson to leave Arsenal
We can absolutely understand why Nelson wants to stay at Arsenal.
Nelson was born in London and joined the Gunners ranks at the age of just nine.
Long tipped as a wonderkid in the Arsenal setup, Nelson showed promise on loan at Hoffenheim in the 2018-19 season.
That sparked real excitement that Nelson would become a star for Arsenal too but it just hasn’t happened.
Nelson has only ever played in 25 Premier League games for Arsenal and his chances of first-team action look slim.
Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka continue to shine out wide whilst Leandro Trossard arrived from Brighton and Hove Albion in January.
Emile Smith Rowe is another option out wide for Arteta and Nelson – now 23 – needs to be playing regularly somewhere.
No Premier League starts and just two substitute appearances should be a big enough indication that Nelson’s future lies elsewhere.
Leaving to play regularly for another Premier League club must appeal to Nelson, who has the ability to make a name for himself away from Arsenal.
