Rangers boss Mark Warburton is looking to bring the Spaniard to Ibrox.
Rangers’ move to sign Jon Toral from Arsenal on loan took a step closer to completion today as the player was officially recalled from his loan spell at La Liga side Granada.
The Spanish outfit confirmed that Arsenal had exercised the right to bring the player back from his loan deal earlier today and it now looks as though he will complete his move to Rangers imminently.
The Daily Record report that he is flying to Glasgow and is all set to sign a six-month loan agreement this evening, with an announcement due tomorrow.
The 21-year-old is known to Rangers manager Mark Warburton, who had him on loan at Brentford in the 2014-15 season.

His arrival will help Rangers cope with the injury to Niko Kranjcar, who is set to miss the rest of the season with a knee injury. It also follows a similar deal for Bournemouth midfielder Emerson Hyndman and signals Rangers’ intent to push on in the second half of the season.
Rangers fans will be hoping he can have a similar impact to the one Gedion Zelalem had when he headed to Glasgow last season on a similar deal.
