Hector Bellerin has racked up more than 200 appearances for Arsenal, but may soon end up leaving the club in the near future.

The 25-year-old joined Arsenal from Barcelona back in 2011, and has been a mainstay of the Gunners side in recent years.

Now though, Ainsley Maitland-Niles is pushing to claim the right-wing back spot, having started against Everton on Saturday evening.

Just hours later, The Mirror suggested that Barcelona could re-sign Bellerin in 2021, with Joan Laporta keen to lure him back to Catalunya.

Laporta is running to become Barcelona’s president for a second time, having previously held the role from 2003 to 2010.

He wants to bring Bellerin back to the Camp Nou in an emotional move, even though Barca have already signed their right back of the future or Sergino Dest.

Bellerin may have been with Arsenal for almost 10 years now, but fans don’t seem all that fussed about the idea of him leaving the club for a return to Barcelona.

Some urged Barcelona to hurry up and make their move for Bellerin, with some on their knees begging them to re-sign him.

Others suggested that they would drive Bellerin back to Barcelona if needed, simply believing that it’s now time for him to move on.
