Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale is being hailed by a stunning save against Leicester City on Saturday, but Ian Wright is praising his passing ability.

The Gunners won 2-0 at the King Power Stadium on Saturday with Gabriel Magalhaes and Emile Smith Rowe on the scoresheet.

Ramsdale stole the show though, producing an unbelievable save to keep out a James Maddison free kick.

Ramsdale made eight saves in total, as well as commanding his area with two high claims from crosses.

Derided after his £30million transfer from Sheffield United, Ramsdale is already proving his doubters wrong.

There just appears to be no way for Bernd Leno to get back in now, with Ramsdale becoming an Arsenal favourite just over two months into his Gunners career.

Wright praises Ramsdale’s distribution after Arsenal win

Pundit Ian Wright loves all things Arsenal, and specifically Ramsdale’s distribution against Leicester.

Match of the Day showed a number of clips of Ramsdale pinging passes out from the back straight to Arsenal teammates.

Ramsdale’s pinpoint passing into midfield got Arsenal quickly onto the attack, something Leno was never really able to do for the Gunners.

Wright saw those clips and was blown away by Ramsdale.

Wright called Ramsdale’s distribution ‘absolutely fantastic’ and ‘magnificent’, also saying ‘oh my gosh’ after seeing one particular pass.

“His distribution is absolutely fantastic,” said Wright. “Watch this – oh my gosh, come on. That is just magnificent,” he added.
