Arsenal are back in action this evening as they take on Rapid Vienna in their first Europa League group stage game of the season.

The Gunners took on Manchester City last weekend and face Leicester City this weekend, so Mikel Arteta may be tempted to rotate some of his side.

Here’s our predicted lineup for this evening’s game at in Austria…

Runar Runarsson has yet to make his Arsenal debut since signing from Dijon over the summer, but this could be an ideal time to give the 25-year-old some playing time and rest Bernd Leno for a game.

Bringing in Ainsley Maitland-Niles at right back seems like a wise decision, whilst Shkodran Mustafi’s return means he can partner David Luiz at centre back, with Rob Holding out.

Sead Kolasinac may be given a chance at left back, though there is a chance that Arteta deploys Maitland-Niles there and goes with Cedric at right back.

Thomas Partey will surely make a first start following his move from Atletico Madrid, and this could be a great time to give Joe Willock a game alongside Partey and Mohamed Elneny in midfield.

Youngsters Reiss Nelson and Eddie Nketiah deserve a start in attack, whilst it may be a good idea to give Nicolas Pepe another game on the right flank in an attempt to build up some consistency for him.

This is a much-rotated side, and would involve the likes of Kieran Tierney, Gabriel Magalhaes, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Dani Ceballos and Willian being rested, but this seems like a great opportunity to rotate the Arsenal side whilst building towards Sheffield United.
