Arsenal have been linked to Emre Can.

Arsenal are monitoring the situation of Liverpool star Emre Can, according to The Mirror.
The German international’s contract is up at the end of the season and his intentions are yet unclear.
Juventus have been favourites to sign him, and The Mirror report Manchester City have entered the race, along with Arsenal.
Moves to Juventus or Manchester City would on one hand be understandable.

Both teams are favourites to win their respective league titles this year – although Juventus face a tougher battle than recent seasons – and Can would be taking a shortcut towards winning trophies.
If he were to join Arsenal, the reasoning would become less clear.
The Gunners missed out on Champions League football last season, and they are currently eight points behind the top four already this campaign.
Can would be joining an already congested midfield, competing with Granit Xhaka, Aaron Ramsey and Jack Wilshere for positions.
He would be a solid signing for Arsenal on a free, but by leaving Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool for the Emirates, it would be a puzzling decision considering the current trajectories of the two teams.
