Arsenal were comfortable winners against Manchester United yesterday.
Arsenal are back on track after putting their Olympiakos disaster behind them with an excellent performance against Manchester United in the Premier League.
They won 3-0 yesterday thanks to a superb start to the game. Arsenal were 3-0 up within 20 minutes after two goals from Alexis Sanchez and a Mesut Ozil finish in between.
There were a number of top performances in the game from Arsenal players. Gabriel and Per Mertesacker were excellent at the back whilst Theo Walcott and both goalscorers were deadly going forward.
After the game plenty of the Arsenal players took to twitter to celebrate. Mertesacker used the opportunity to have a joke at Wayne Rooney’s expense, posting this picture along with his tweet.
Aaron Ramsey had some interesting fans for the game. Members of the Welsh national rugby team, who would have been celebrating advancing in the Rugby World Cup at England’s expense this weekend, came to see him in action.
