Arsenal attacking midfielder Emile Smith Rowe has raved about his teammate Kieran Tierney in The Daily Mail.

During a chat with with former Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool midfielder Jamie Redknapp, who now works as a pundit for Sky Sports, Smith Rowe described his Arsenal teammate and Scotland international left-back Tierney as a “warrior”.

The English youngster told Redknapp for The Daily Mail: “Me and KT have such a good bond. We worked on it in training and were both buzzing after the [Tottenham] game.

“KT is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet but at the same time, he’s such a warrior. He’s a player who’s got everyone’s back and always wants to win.”

Tierney is one of the best left-backs in the Premier League and is a key player in the current Arsenal team.

The left-back is very good defensively, and the former Celtic star is also an important component in building the Gunners’ attacks.

Tierney had injury and fitness problems last season, but this campaign, the 23-year-old has been superb.
