Arsenal left-back Kieran Tierney has responded to Celtic on Twitter after the Glasgow giants congratulated him on winning the FA Cup.
Tierney was in action for Arsenal on Saturday evening, as the Gunners got the better of London rivals Chelsea 2-1 at Wembley Stadium in the final of the FA Cup.
It is the first major silverware the Scotland international left-back has won with the Gunners since he moved to the North London outfit from Celtic in the summer of 2019.
The 23-year-old left-back was used to winning league titles and cup competitions during his time at Celtic.
The Scottish Premiership giants have congratulated Tierney on Twitter on winning the FA Cup with Arsenal, and he has responded to it.
Succeeding at Arsenal
Tierney had fitness and injury problems when he arrived at Arsenal, and that affected him for much of the season.
However, since football resumed after lockdown, the 23-year-old has been superb for the Gunners and has established himself as an important player in head coach Mikel Arteta’s squad.
Tierney is one of the best young left-backs in Europe, and the former Celtic star will only get better in the coming years.
