Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal are planning to send Omar Rekik out on loan for his development, just like they did with William Saliba, according to TEAMtalk.
TEAMtalk have reported that Arsenal will allow Tunisia international central defender Rekik to leave on loan in the summer transfer window.
Clubs in Germany and the Netherlands are reportedly keen on the 20-year-old.
The youngster spent the majority of last season with the Arsenal Under-23 side.
As TEAMtalk have noted, this decision of Arsenal is similar to what they did with Saliba.
Arsenal signed Saliba in 2019, but the 21-year-old has since been out on loan at Saint-Etienne, Nice and Marseille.

Although the youngster is yet to make an appearance in the Primer League for Arsenal, he has earned three caps for France already.
Saliba is scheduled to return to Arsenal for pre-season training.
Arsenal decision on Omar Rekik sensible
In our view, Arsenal are doing the right thing by sending Omar Rekik out on loan in the summer transfer window.
Even if the Tunisia international centre-back does not play regularly for his loan club, it will be an experience for him to be.
Being part of the first-team squad is always better than playing Under-23s football.
