Arsenal may just have the new Rasmus Hojlund on their hands.
So much of the conversation around Arsenal centres on their striking options.
Some believe that Arsenal need to invest big money in a finisher who can take Mikel Arteta’s side up another level.
A host of names have been linked in recent memory and, around this time last year, Rasmus Hojlund was the name being mentioned.
Reports from Italy indicated that Arsenal were ready to move to sign Hojlund from Atalanta, but he ended up at Manchester United instead.
Arsenal will be looking at other strikers too, but may just have a real talent on their books already.
Mika Biereth following Rasmus Hojlund path
Striker Mika Biereth is one of a number of Arsenal talents currently out on loan.
The Dane, signed from Fulham in 2021, was sent on loan to Motherwell for the first half of the season.
Six goals and five assists in 14 games was an outstanding return for Biereth and Arsenal decided to send him elsewhere for a new challenge.
Biereth joined Sturm Graz in January and the early results have been remarkable.
The 21-year-old has hit five goals in his first seven games for Sturm Graz and recorded a goal and an assist in Sunday’s 4-0 thrashing of Wolfsberger.

Biereth is breathing new life into Sturm Graz’s push for the Austrian title and his exploits mirror those of Hojlund.
United hitman Hojlund joined Sturm Graz in 2022, smashing 12 goals in just 21 games to earn himself a move to Atalanta.
Biereth is on course to match those kind of figures at Sturm Graz and would no doubt attract major interest in the process.
The Arsenal talent may be the same age as Hojlund already, but the parallels are there; an exciting, young Danish striker making waves with goals for Sturm Graz.
It may be too early for Biereth to be seen as Arsenal’s next great striker, but a superb season out on loan means the Gunners may want to take a close look at him over pre-season.
Even if Biereth doesn’t quite make the grade, Arsenal could cash in for a decent fee, just like with Folarin Balogun.
Either way, Biereth’s form is impossible to ignore and it may just remind some inside the Emirates Stadium of Hojlund’s brilliance in Austria.
