Aside from the actual points gap, the Gunners have simply been far and away the best team in the league this campaign.

While this young ensemble often get doubted due to their inexperience in title races, they prove time and again that they are the real deal.

“I think City will pip them to it. It’s going to be intriguing. I think because Arsenal have not been in this position for a long time, and it can be a lot of pressure to go with that.”

“Once you start getting into the last 10 games of the season that’s when the real pressure starts. And so, I’m really interested to see if they can sustain what they’ve been doing all season”, he told CNN.

Rooney has a point

Several Arsenal fans may perhaps be vexed by Wayne Rooney for backing Manchester City to win the Premier League title, despite the gap in points between both sides.

But if there is one player that knows what a side needs to get over the line in title races, it is the five-time champion.

While Mikel Arteta and Co. have been phenomenal throughout the season, there are not many better teams than this City side in the business end of the campaign.
