This year’s name is that of Benjamin, with the striker picked out by The Guardian as Arsenal’s leading prospect.
Their review of Benjamin highlights his ‘exceptional speed’ and ‘explosive’ finishing ability in front of goal.
The 16-year-old made headlines earlier this season having scored a first-half hat-trick against Arsenal’s bitter rivals Tottenham Hotspur.
Having demolished Spurs, Arsenal fans are now very excited about Benjamin’s potential.
Quick, dangerous and capable of playing up front or in from the left flank, Benjamin has plenty in his locker and must keep developing if he is to fulfil his potential.
The report also adds that Benjamin has a great connection with Ethan Nwaneri, who became the Premier league’s youngest ever player earlier this month.
The dream for Arsenal will be for Benjamin and Nwaneri to end up in the first team together and bring that link-up play to the Premier League.
