Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal have offered Bukayo Saka £140,000 per week as salary in order to stop him from leaving for Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool or Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City in the summer transfer window, according to The Daily Mail.
The Daily Mail have reported that Arsenal have made an offer to Saka to double his current £70,000-a-week wages on a new long-term contract.
The report has credited Premier League champions Manchester City with interest in the England international, who can play as a winger, midfielder or left-back and was described as “amazing” by former Arsenal star Paul Merson on Sky Sports Premier League in April 2022.
Saka has yet to response to the offer, but Arsenal are confident of getting a deal done.

The Daily Mail reported on June 6 that Liverpool and Manchester City are monitoring the situation of the 20-year-old.
No transfer from Arsenal to Liverpool for Bukayo Saka this summer
In our view, Arsenal will not sell Bukayo Saka to Liverpool – or any other club for the matter – in the summer transfer window.
Saka is one of the best players at Arsenal and is still under contract at the North London club.
The youngster has come through the Arsenal academy and is unlikely to push through a move.
Saka has scored 17 goals and created 19 big chances in 97 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.
